Miriam Bouzouita supervises Spanish Linguistics. Miriam’s scholarly interests range from Hispanic philology, Ibero-Romance historical syntax to formal linguistics. This is reflected in the various research projects she is currently involved in, which embrace the study of Biblical translations in Medieval and Renaissance Spanish (
www.bibliamedieval.es), the edition of 18th and 19th century Majorcan Spanish documents for the study of contact-induced change with Catalan and the historical study of Left Periphery and clitic phenomena within the formal framework of Dynamic Syntax.
