The Fifth Annual Cambridge Festival of Ukrainian Film 
The Ukrainian Studies Programme in association with the Department of Slavonic Studies held it's fifth-annual film festival to showcase Ukrainian film at the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse on Friday 9 November and Saturday 10 November, 2012.
Fullfilling it's aim to showcase the best of Ukrainian cinema from its beginnings to the present day, the 2012 Cambridge Festival of Ukrainian Film was headlined by Mykhailo Illienko's blockbuster FireCrosser (2012) and Ivan Kavaleridze's remastered classic Hryhorii Skovoroda (1959).
Both films were shown in Ukrainian and Russian with English subtitles.
This event was a joint venture between the Cambridge Ukrainian Studies programme and the Department of Slavonic Studies.
