Attention of the undergraduate students in the Slavonic Department is drawn to the existence of the Robert Daglish Fund. The Fund was established 'for the encouragement of Russian studies' from a bequest from Mrs Inna Daglish in memory of her husband, a former student at Jesus. The purpose of the Fund is to 'make grants or loans to undergraduate members of the University to assist them in travelling to or in Russia in connection with their studies in the University'. Students who wish to apply for grants are required to complete an application form. The managers of the Fund have decided that the priority will be given to assist First-year students of Russian wishing to take approved Vacation courses in Russia. Completed application forms should be returned to the Secretary in the Slavonic Department by 1 May.
