Language Courses
Although the Department cannot formally recommend any individual courses, the feedback from students shows that the courses at the Centre of Russian Language and Culture and at the International Benedict School, St Petersburg, organized by RLUS in September, are useful. Students planning to attend language courses in Russia may be eligible for financial assistance from the Vacation Studies Fund in the MML Faculty.
There are many commercial firms which organize Russian language courses in summer and throughout the year in Russia. Apart from tuition, most firms provide accommodation with local Russian families and a varied cultural programme.
The Department is not responsible for the organization or content of any of these courses.
In Great Britain

Intensive one or two week courses. 10.00 - 4.30pm per day (except Saturday and Sunday) in July. Enrolment: from March 2008.
