Proposals for 30-minute papers are invited on all aspects of neo-Latin drama, including performance, commentaries and treatises on dramatic works, pedagogy, neo-Latin translation of Greek and vernacular drama, as well as studies of original neo-Latin dramatic texts.
Confirmed speakers include Jan Bloemendal, Giacomo Cardinali, Carine Ferradou, Judi Loach, Veronika Coroleu Oberparleiter, Howard Norland, Cressida Ryan and Michiel Verweij.
We aim to publish a collection of essays based on the symposium. It is hoped that, as in previous years, speakers' accommodation and meals will be paid for by the Society, leaving speakers with only the expense of their travel. Accommodation should also be available for the night of Sunday 2 September.
Proposals of c. 150 words should be sent by 15 April 2007 to Andrew Taylor at Churchill College, Cambridge CB3 0DS or emailed to Andrew Taylor.
