7pm for 7.30pm, Selwyn College, Cambridge
All those who studied Modern Greek at Cambridge are warmly invited to an Alumni Dinner to be held in the Hall, Selwyn College on Saturday, 18 May 2013, 7pm for 7.30pm. Our guest of honour will be the current British Ambassador in Athens, His Excellency Mr John Kittmer, who studied Classics at Christ's from 1985 to 1988.
We hope to welcome back as many former students as possible. It will be an opportunity to catch up with old friends, but also to learn more about the present status of the subject, and the prospects of maintaining a Modern Greek presence in Cambridge. But above all, it will be a celebration of what has been achieved, individually and collectively, by you and all those who have been associated with the subject.
The cost of dinner will be £46 per person, inclusive of wine. Dress is Lounge Suit or equivalent. You are welcome to bring a guest.
