The Modern and Medieval Languages Library supports teaching and learning in European languages, literatures and cultures and in linguistics. It contains about 118,000 books and 3,500 films together with journals, foreign-language magazines, CD-ROMs and CDs. MML undergraduates and MPhil students should find all the books and films they need here, and researchers also use the collections.
Opening hours
Full Term: Monday - Frid ay 09.00 - 19.00 ; Saturday 10.00 - 16.00. Term dates.
Vacation: Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00 ; Saturday: closed.
Please note that the Library doors are locked and the computers shut down 15 minutes and 10 minutes before closing time respectively.

Summer opening hours
We are now open Monday to Friday 9 -5 until Monday 7 October. The Library will be closed between Friday 16 August and Sunday 1st September inclusive, and will repoen at 9am on Monday 2nd September.
