Laura Lepschy's research interests include: travel literature and history of taste,
particularly in connection with Venice and Venetian art; late 19th and early 20th century
literature, particularly Verga, Svevo and Pirandello; questions of language and
of translation, particularly self-translation (Invernizio, Vivanti, Pirandello).
