Expertise in historical syntax may be an advantage. Applicants should have good IT skills and some experience of working with databases. They should be fluent in both English (the working language of the project) and Greek, and have a good working knowledge of at least one other major European language. Further information about the project can be found on the website: /greek/grammarofmedievalgreek/.
Candidates should send SIX COPIES of their application, including a detailed curriculum vitae, list of publications, and the names and addresses of two referees who are familiar with their work in the relevant field. One copy of a completed PD18 form (available at http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/offices/personnel/forms/pd18/) must also be sent together with the application. Applications should be sent, in hard copy, to arrive by 31 May 2007, to: Professor David Holton, Modern Greek Section, Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages, Raised Faculty Building, Sidgwick Avenue, Cambridge CB3 9DA, UK.
