Modern Greek in Part II

Language papers

This information is valid up to Tripos 2012 only.

All candidates for Part II must take two three-hour language papers: a Translation paper and an Essay in the foreign language. Generally these papers are offered in the same language, but a candidate who wishes to do so may take the Essay paper in a different language from that of the Translation paper. Weekly classes in translation from and into Greek are held throughout the year. The Essay paper is taught through a combination of lectures and supervisions.

Please note that both GRC1 and GRC2 are changing for Tripos 2013. Click on the relevant link for each paper and you will find a description of the paper in its current form and a link to a description of the future style of the paper.
