Welcome to the Learning Support Website for the Latin American Culture modules. There are two modules: Latin American Culture, which currently has a literary focus; and Latin American Film and Visual Arts. These modules are available to students of the MPhil in European Literature, the MPhil in Screen and Media Cultures and the MPhil in Latin American Studies. For an overview of the teaching schedule, see Literature/Culture schedule and Film/Visual Arts schedule.
On this site you will find extensive information about both modules, including a number of on-line resources, and a full catalogue of Latin American films (the latter only available from computers in academic institutions).
See Quick links (bottom right) for lists of undergraduate lectures on Latin American Culture (particularly final-year lectures) which can complement the teaching programme for the Cultural Studies modules.
For extensive links to other teaching material on a different server, please see: SP13 Contemporary Latin American Culture, SP12 Latin American Literature, and SP5 Latin American Culture.
