Andy Martin is currently researching French philosophers' theories of love and FBI files on French philosophers. He teaches papers from 1789 onwards.
The author of Waiting for Bardot (Faber), Napoleon the Novelist (Polity), and The Knowledge of Ignorance (CUP), he was a 2009-10 Fellow of the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, New York.
