Anna Korhonen specialises in Computational Linguistics (also called Natural Language Processing) and has a joint affiliation between DTAL and Computer Laboratory. Her research focuses on both core Computational Linguistics (mainly computational lexical semantics, automatic lexical acquisition, information structure of texts) and its application to real-word and interdisciplinary tasks (e.g. biomedical text mining, computational neurolinguistics). Her research has been mostly funded by the Royal Society, EU and national research councils (e.g. EPSRC, ESRC, MRC).
