Research
The Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics is home to cutting-edge research across a wide range of linguistic topics. Research is undertaken within clusters, which bring together Departmental staff and research students with other members of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages. In addition, the Department has been particularly successful in attracting external research funding, which has led to a series of major projects.
