Technical Specification

The minimal specification below is intended to help schools or others who rely on older equipment. Better performance will be achieved on newer, more up-to-date equipment.

• Win 95/98/NT/2000/XP
• 32 MB Ram
• CD ROM drive or Local Area Network
• Pentium or newer processors; minimally 166 MHz
• Sound card with headphones or speakers
• Monitor set to High Colour (16bit) or True Colour (32 bit) but not 24 bit; small fonts are better
• Hard Disk space: minimally 0; typically 14Mb; maximally (with the video files) 367Mb

In some versions of Windows (NT4, 2000, XP) you may require adminstrator privileges to install the software properly. If you can't install the software, or if certain aspects of it don't work after installation, try installing the package with a username that has full rights for software installation. Ask for help and advice from your local technical sources.
