Translation assignment

• This text is a rather difficult text, as it was originally written in the year 1894. 'A posthumous confession' by Marcellus Emants is known to be a Dutch 20th century classic.
• You have to make a translation from Dutch into English. If there are any difficulties with Dutch-words, you can make use of the (short) wordlist, which you can find next to the text. There are two sample translations by which you can examine your own translation.
