| English text Jingshu, why have you chosen this programme? I wanted to try out different spheres so as to find my future specialisation. This programme has given me an opportunity to deepen my knowledge of Western philosophy, social theory and cultural studies. And you? What appealed to me was the interdisciplinary and comparative aspect of the programme. I wanted to make use of my command of several European languages: French, Italian, and Russian. Also, I am very much interested in film theory and studies of visual culture. And has the course fulfilled your expectations? Very much so. I greatly appreciate the fact that students' initiative here receives such great support on the part of the faculty. If you are interested in a certain issue, you can always speak with a specialist in this field, even if they are from a different department or faculty. There are many events, specifically aimed at bringing people together, encouraging discussion and exchange of opinions. The atmosphere at the university is very positive. |
